Included in the cost:

• All necessary paints and medium
• Palette (on loan)

NOT included in the cost:

• Brushes
• Canvas

Payment: a deposit of €170 is due at the time of registration.  A second payment of €200 is due the day of the first lesson.

Students are responsible for buying their own brushes and canvas, which can easily be done in the art shop located above the PADASOR studio.

Curriculum:

• Lesson 1: general introduction; creation of still-life or cast setup; preparation of canvas
• Lesson 2: introduction to oil paints; demo on composition and starting the painting
• Lesson 3: drawing with paint
• Lesson 4: developing value
• Lesson 5: developing texture and color; finding balance between local color and the colors of the palette
• Lesson 6: scumbling and glazing
• Lesson 7: hierarchy
• Lesson 8: completion

Terms and Conditions:

• There is no reimbursement for absences, nor make-up lessons.
• The payment plan is intended to make participation easier.  However, should you decide to exit the course prior to compleition, the total sum is still due.

Gli studenti devono acquistare la tela e i pennelli, facilmente reperibili presso il negozio di belle arti situato sopra lo studio di PADASOR.

Pagamento: Un deposito di €170 è dovuto al momento dell’iscrizione.  Il saldo di €200 è dovuto la prima lezione.

Programma:

• Lezione 1: introduzione generale; creazione di una natura morta o di un calco; preparazione della tela
• Lezione 2: introduzione alla pittura a olio; dimostrazione di composizione e inizio del dipinto
• Lezione 3: disegno con la pittura
• Lezione 4: sviluppo del valore
• Lezione 5: sviluppo di texture e colore; ricerca dell’equilibrio tra il colore locale e i colori della tavolozza
• Lezione 6: velatura e velatura
• Lezione 7: gerarchia
• Lezione 9: rifinimenti
• Lezione 8: completamento

• Eventuali lezioni perse non possono essere rimborsate né recuperate.
• I pagamenti sfasati sono fatti per aggevolare la partecipazione.  Se si dovesse ritirare prima della fine del corso, la somma totale e’ comunque dovuto.
