The Art of the Finish: from Theory to Practice
What does it mean to finish a painting? The answer tends to be more theoretical than practical, so what makes the theory a reality? Join me for seven sessions live on Zoom as I wrestle with those questions and try to bring an unfinished work to a satisfactory conclusion.
I’ll work with a painting that was begun during a previous online course (the portrait of Giulia from Examining Velázquez: a Painting Expedition) and use a photograph as a reference.
